What is a flat panel activated carbon filter?
It is a finished filter component that combines activated carbon media, support and a surrounding frame in one panel. It is intended for equipment that accepts a framed, replaceable filter rather than loose media supplied for further conversion.
Finished panel or loose filter media?
Choose a finished panel when the equipment requires a framed replacement component. If your company cuts, laminates or frames the material in-house, start with our activated carbon filter media or rolls, sheets and cut parts instead.
Information needed to match a replacement filter
Send whatever information is already available. An existing part number, drawing, specification sheet or clear sample photos can make the review more efficient.
- Overall width, height and depth
- Frame or housing construction and sealing method
- Installation direction and available space
- Application and target odor or gaseous contaminant
- Airflow or pressure-drop requirement from the existing specification
- Order quantity, test requirement and packaging requirement
Replacement match or new OEM design?
For a replacement filter, provide the existing component details so that dimensions and installation features can be reviewed. For a new OEM design, send the available equipment space, airflow, target contaminant and planned installation method. Junkang can then review the frame construction, media arrangement, support, sealing and assembly. The final construction and compatibility are confirmed after factory feasibility review. If a pleated construction is required, see our pleated activated carbon filter page.
